Go Me

Brett and I have a "Go Mommy" dance, because I'm so cool! :)
Well, this is a go me moment to I'm going to brag about. I noticed today that the garage door was about to break, the part up towards the ceiling and that attaches to the door (the main part that makes it up and down). Two screws were very loose and about to come out, one screw was holding strong and one screw was gone.
Do I wait until Paul comes home Friday night? Do I try to fix it myself?
Considering we use the garage door a lot and that is how we get Trey in and out of the house, I really didn't want to take the chance that it breaks completely and I have to pop the emergency release and leave the door up for days until Paul gets home.
I'm going to fix it myself. Found another screw for the one that was gone, and tightened up the others and woala (no idea on that spelling) :)
Garage door fixed! Oh, my daddy would be so proud of me!

Brett's Field Trip

I was able to go on Brett's last field trip of the year and we had a great time. We went to a little farm in Springville and saw some great animals. Cute little goats were so nice, Brett wasn't so sure being so close to one in the very first picture. After the farm we went to the Spring Lake Trout farm where the guy there has a pond that little kids can fish. Brett was so excited to fish and even more excited to catch the fish.

Then we went to the Salem Ponds and ate lunch and played on the play ground.
