Trey and one more surgery

March 29, 2011 Trey had another surgery. On this day he had the metal and screws taken out of both his hips that he had put in last year in March. The nice thing was it was a same day surgery! I really hope this is the last surgery for quite awhile! :) Here is Trey in recovery listening to his music. Poor little dude.

Quick trip to Miniapolis, MN

March 25th-27th Paul's company, Empire Brands, is a sponsor of the Avalanche Tour (rock bands- skillet, hailstorm, theory of a dead man, stone sour, art of dying) Yep, those are the names of the bands :) I had never heard of any of them but that is not saying much. So anyway, Paul needed to go out to one of the concerts to have a booth and display product, etc. So him worked it out with his awesome mom to come be with the kids so I could tag along. We went to Minneapolis, MN and it was freezing there!!!!!!!!!!!!! That place is cold, the guy at the front desk of the hotel said "this is a heat wave for us". The day time temps were low 30's! Glad I don't have to go there in December or January :) So while we were there we went to the Mall of America. That place is seriously out of control. It is huge! And to have an amusement park in the middle of it, cool. Here is Paul in front of the big LEGO Store at the Mall of America That is part of the rides that you see in back of us.

This is an overlook of the amusement park, it is hard to see much detail in this though. There are several roller coasters, and gut turning rides that look like so much fun. This is a look down into the LEGO store, plus you can see the little people, motorcycles, helicopter, etc. All made out of LEGO's.

So downtown Minneapolis is neat. A big majority of the building have built these enclosed walk ways from building to building. You could really go several blocks and never step outside. Good thing because that place is cold.

Some cool old church.

Thanks for a great weekend Paul!

Jazz Game

March 14, 2011 We got to go to the Utah Jazz game against the Phil. 76'ers. Our awesome neighbors who couldn't use their tickets that night gave them to us. My Dad came up and my brother Dave came too! We had a great time and the game was really great too.

In to OT the game went, true to Jazz fashion they tried so hard to loose the game in the 4th quarter but managed only to tie it up.

Overtime was good and the Jazz ended up winning 112 to 107. Thanks for an exciting game!
