A Decade in the Making

It's finally finished. A project I've been working on for 10 yrs. Collecting all 50 state's quarters as they were released to circulation has been fun. Although I was excited to have it over with when last week I received my final quarter (Hawaii).
I found this neat display for the quarters but have no where to display it right now. In fact it is up in my closet on a high shelf because when Brett has seen it before he has wanted the quarters out and for himself. Freeloader! :)
Maybe I'll super glue them in or hook up some sort of shocking mechanism so if someone tried to take a quarter out of the display they will get the shock of their life.
Has anyone else collected the state quarters?

Way to go! You might want to check around online, I think I've seen display cases and frames that have glass/plexiglass in them. That would at least keep little fingers from removing the coins.

Very cool accomplishment, we started, but the boys kept losing theirs... or spending them.

I have a thing that looks very similar to that that I've been collecting the quarters in too. But I'm not as good as you........I don't have them all yet. I just usually happen on to the quarters but I guess I need to get serious & really start looking for them so I can finish it up. It has been a fun project hasn't it. Now what are you we going to collect?

Thanks for the idea Christina, I'll have to look for a case. It will eventually hang in my studio when we finish the room downstairs.

Alicia, yes, it has been fun. I don't have anything in mind of collecting next.
