A Little Boy's Prayer

I love that Brett is learning to say his prayers. And they are the cutest thing ever. I just have to share what was said tonight.

. . . . .please help me and Ellie to be nice to each other forever
. . . . .please help Daddy rest tonight so he can feel better
. . . . .Heavenly Father and Jesus and Santa to help me be good

What a boy!

Where has the clean air gone?

This inversion has got to go! It takes a lot for the inversion to make it down to us in Mapleton and be thick but it is here. I can't imagine living in the Northern part of Utah County, SLC county, or Davis.
Praying for a windy windy storm to come rolling in soon!

Another First for Trey - Tooth

Check Spelling
Here is my toothless boy! Cute huh?

On Wednesday (the 6th) Trey lost his first tooth!

I was out doing some shopping and mom calls me and says that Trey's tooth is really loose and is bleeding. Well, it is the time that he should be getting permanent teeth in. She was worried that he would work it out with his fingers and swallow it. I told her that if she felt like she could pull it out then go right ahead.

When mom got off the phone with me she looked back at Trey and the tooth was gone. She couldn't find it anywhere so we are assuming he swallowed it. Through all of this Trey was so very happy and gitty! He thought he was the stuff!

And I'm sure it is not the last time he swallows a tooth. His other front tooth is very close to coming out!

CES Show

Today was the last day of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. This is Paul's big week, showing new product, meeting with a lot of current customers as well as potential customers.
The last few days have been good for Paul at the show and if things pan out, he'll get some great sales this year.
My mom came up for a few days to help with the kids. I was able to get a couple of projects done, the big one being cleaning and re-decorating the tops of my kitchen cabinets. Wow, it was dusty up there, I haven't cleaned up there since we moved in over 5 years ago. I re-decorated the top with most of the stuff I already had up there with a couple of new finds. I love how it turned out.
Thanks to my mom for coming up, I was able to go to stores I usually don't go to with kids, so I got to take time and look around.
So anyway, the last 8 days went both slow and fast. Tomorrow we look forward to seeing Paul when he gets home.
