This is Trey's friend, Easton. Over the last several months Easton has befriended Trey and been by his side whenever he can. Because Trey goes to school in Springville and not Mapleton they would only get to see each other at church and at Cub Scouts. He talks to Trey, pushes his chair and just really loves Trey.
Before Trey's baclofen pump surgery in November Easton showed up at our door with a present for Trey. A binder, paper, pencil, a little army football and a couple of other things. I just found out recently from Easton's mom that he did that all by himself. Got the things together and told his mom he was going to take it to Trey.
Even as I write this I'm emotional, it touches my heart to see one of Trey's peers treat him so good and really be a friend. I'm so happy that Trey has had this experience.
Easton has recently moved to Springville so he won't get to see Trey at church or cub scouts but I'm hoping that I can get the boys together every once in awhile.
Easton is such an amazing boy, I'm so glad we were blessed to have him come into Trey's life.

What an amazing little boy. So thoughtful. Friends like that mean a lot.
It's easy to have adult friends but what kids really need and crave are those special kid friends. I am happy you all had this experience.
