NYC Day 2

May 2, 2012 NYC
This morning Paul and I did something that we had never done before in all the times we've been to the city.  We went to the TODAY Show. Brandie wanted to go down and stand in the crowd and check it out.  I think her and Drew made it on TV when the hosts were talking out on the plaza.
It was cool to see what was going on and then we moved on to the next thing, Rockefeller Center.
Then to see St. Patrick's Cathedral.  Such a beautiful place.

Next stop is Grand Central Station.

It is a beautiful and very busy building.  Look at the ceiling.
After Grand Central Station we grabbed some NYC pizza and then headed over to the David Letterman show for the taping that day.  The previous day while walking around Time Square there was a worker there from the show giving tickets out for the taping.  This is something also that Paul and I had never done while in New York.
It was a long, long wait but when it came down to the taping of the show it was truly interesting.  Seeing all the behind the scenes stuff going on.  I think we all agreed that we were glad we did that.  Don't think I would do it again but glad I experienced that.
